Help/Advice re. BBC iPlayer
I have a laptop which until a week ago worked fairly satisfactorily. Since then the BBC iPlayer won't play telly programmes, although the radio part is fine.
When I click on any TV programme a band comes across telling me to download and install Flash. I have this already and have checked and verified that it is the latest updated version but re-installed it anyway. It is definitely 'enabled' too. The iplayer still gives the same message and won't work. I have asked the BBC about it twice but have received no reply. I would be so grateful for any suggestions as to what to do. I don't have a telly. |

BBC iPlayer has changed quite a bit recently.
Uninstall BBC iPlayer completely using control panel and then go to BBC iPlayer website and choose a program to download. It will ask you if you have installed new downloader. Choose to install downloader. It should ask you for flash if needed. I am not sure if latest version needs flash? This should solve your problems. |
