Took some unsealed smoked salmon out of the fridge this morning and brought it into work for lunch. Forgot to leave it in the fridge and my room is quite warm so it smelt quite fishy. I had a few bits but was turned off by the smell so decided to bin it. Checked the use by date and it's two days over. Aaaaaagh. Unsealed, unrefrigerated for about 4 hours and past its use by date. Am I likely to be throwing up shortly??

One things for sure if you keep thinking about it you will be sick, just try to forget it and it will likely be fine.

You're probably absolutely fine - don't worry about it.

You only had a few bites so you're probably going to be fine, otherwise you might have to spend a little longer in your works toilet a bit later. Hope it's clean.

Just read your post. Glad you are O.K.

I swear by Apple Cider Vinegar. Occasionally I get a jippy tum. I put a couple of teaspoons of ACV in wate with honey, in a glass of water. Sip it, after a while the Sicky feellings go.

A good natural website I go on often for ailments. Www.earth clinic.com. also for pets.

It does your constitution good to give it a challenge, even a little one!

Good to know, although I did wonder whether you were stuck in the loo for the rest of the day.

salmon should be eaten at room temperature, and I often eat it up to 5 days over the use by date. Still here, fit fine wonderful and well.

Came home today after 4/5 weeks away.
Dug my cheddar cheese dish out of fridge, cut off (thinly) all sides of the cheese with blue mould growth and had a few slices with crackers......... and some wine that I'd left in the fridge.
Lovely.
