I thought Walford police were incompetent by letting all these murderers walk free, but now it seems the fireman are just as bad.

Shirley, a random member of the public came in and started yelling abuse and they just sat there. Then when Tosh started attacking a member of the public, (someone they should actually be protecting) they just laughed it off rather than pointing out that Tosh probably shouldn't have squirted her with water. Especially considering they are meant to be providing a service, (although I suppose giving Shirley a must needed wash probably does count as doing the public a favour).

And to top it all off, they get involved in a domestic. Tina didn't officially request help from the emergency services. Tosh decided at a whim to take the fire engine and her colleagues to save Tina. Who cares if there was a building burning down somewhere else.

Seriously Walford council needs to do something about it's emergency services.

You should!

And it was filled with sexy firemen. My local fire station looks like it's been recruiting from Fraggle Rock.

I wonder if the fire service or any public service get angry at how the soapworld depicts them.

Surely they have more important things to be getting angry about, if they were doing their job properly.

We could ask Maurice, I think he is a fireman. I do remember TK once saying he liked playing with maurices hose.

Yeah I was shocked that they all just stood there and laughed. They had the uniform on but they didn't act or look like they were firemen they just looked like they were in some sort of gang.

Absolutely disgraceful way of portraying the fire brigade. I really hated how they all laughed at Tosh bullying a member of the public and all gathered round her when Shirley went to have a go. DTC may be amazing but at times he comes away with stuff that makes LN look like Steven Spielberg.

I thought they worked for 'kmax' or something, they all seemed ignorant and very aggressive.

Exactly this. I'm sure most firemen enjoy a good laugh, but spraying a member of the public with a lot of water was uncalled for imo.

How should I know. I don't peep a look at their house. Mainly because Sorcha is usually glued to the window so I can't get a look in.

Fire hoses can be very dangerous. If the pressure is too high it can burn skin straight off.

Tosh would be sacked on the spot for what she did to Shirley.

You are right, this felt more fitting in Lorraines era than DTC's. This sort of comic behaviour doesn't fit well in ee.

Great, we now have a fire station and a regular fire fighter and DTC doesn't even like fires.

It obviously wasn't a Walford fire station, because I would guess Tosh would work at a fire station closest to where she lived and we know she wasn't living in Walford when we met Tina at her Tosh's flat back in November

Understand one, maybe 2 young idiots, but others would have intervened to stop hosing incident, as a honour to work for fire brigade, and would not lose job over some clown.

The police were annoyed with their portrayal during Archie's murder

The scene tonight in the Stn yard with the fire crew acting like some gang hanging round an estate bullying members of the public followd by the snogging ay the top of the ladder was pathetic.
I honestly think think that tonight we saw EE jump the shark.

Terrible, ill thought out scene.

Tosh should be locked up for what she did, an emergency worker assaulting a member with an industrial strength hose whilst her colleagues laughed is despicable. It served absolutely no purpose either, could've achieved the same with Shirley and Tosh having an argument outside the station.
