Hi guys,

I have a Samsung Smart TV with the LoveFilm app on. Now that I apparently do have LoveFilm as a Prime member I thought I'd give it a shot.

Tried loading it this morning and it tells me that the firmware on the TV needs updating. Went into the menu to update it and apparently there isn't an update. The only other update I can think it means is a Smart Hub software update, but I can't see any way to force the TV to check for one of these.

Any ideas how I can get this working? My TV model is 40ES5500 I think.

damn it wont link direct to your model. in the top right key in your model number, then chose support, click on more downloadable files, then firmware. Latest was 1036.

They said to me give it a few weeks to settle down like when the playstation network and Xbox live have big updates to them

Thanks for the link.

Why wouldn't this show up as available though when I ask the TV to search for new firmware online? According to the data stamp on that site its from the end of January when this came out.
