Just as an aside to the discussion on the Polls Thread, I thought I'd start this thread on which Doctors people have never watched and why. I'm not going to do a Poll as I feel in the case of modern Doctors it's gonna be pointless.

If you've watched them all like I have, please feel free to join in and tell us which Doctors you've watched the least.

Hope people will join in with this as it gives everyone an idea of who uses this forum. Off course we all know everyone has different tastes and opinions and that will always be varied but this is just an interest to me to see how far back people have watched the show.

My first Who's were the repeats on BBC2. Various stories and various Doctors.

I'll admit the only Doctor I've hardly watched is Hartnell, couldn't give a particular reason tho.

I am not sure. Is the show in color yet?

Just kidding. I have never seen any Doctor Who Episode with Sylvester McCoy (excepting his very brief regeneration sequence at the beginning of "The TV Movie").

Have only watched part 1 of an unearthly child of hartnell, and absolutely nothing of troughton (unless you count either the five or two doctors, of which I have seen both).

Apart from those I've watched at least two or more stories of every other doctor(obviously excluding mcgann) so far (and all of new who), which I think is pretty good going for someone who hadn't heard of it until 2005.

I've seen all the Doctors. I think (in terms of classic Who) I drifts more towards my DVDs that are from the Tom Baker to Colin Baker years. I don't particularly like the McCoy years and I just find the Pertwee stories really long and dull. I think I'm discovering the Troughton stories at the moment, though.

From new Who its very much Tennant for me, although I did enjoy season 1 with Christopher Eccleston but I seem to gravitate most towards season 4 (Tennant/Tate was a superb combination). I haven't bought any DVDs since the Tennant specials because I just have't really felt the need to re-watch any of the Matt Smith stories so far.

This thread makes me smile!

When I was a young Doctor Who fan during the 70s and early 80s, seeing more than one or two previous Doctor's episodes was a luxury. Me and my friends used to have to re-enact the episodes in the playground from what we read in Doctor Who Weekly!

The DW stories that I have watched the least, but have seen on DVD are as follows:

First Doctor: The Edge of Destruction, Keys of Marinus, The Reign of Terror, Planet of Giants, The Ark and The Gunfighters

Second Doctor: The Ice Warriors, The Krotons, The Dominators and the War Games

Third Doctor: Ambassadors of Death, Colony in Space, The Mutants, Frontier in Space

Fourth Doctor: Sontaran Experiment, Masque of Madragora, Horror of Fang Rock, Talons of Weng-Chiang, Underworld, Horns of Nimon.

Fifth Doctor: Four to Doomsday, Kinda, Snakedance, The Awakening, Frontios

Sixth Doctor: Mark of the Rani, Timelash, Mysterious Planet, Ultimate Foe

Seventh Doctor: Paradise Towers, Happiness Patrol, Greatest Show in the Galaxy

I haven't included any from 2005 onwards, as they are repeated on TV quite frequently, on 'Watch' and 'BBC Three'.

There's still quite a few Hartnell/Troughton stories that I haven't seen yet that are complete.

I've watched all of them but for some reason it seems the one I go back to least is Davison. I think it must be Tegan stresses me out.

Haven't missed an episode since Castrovalva and then caught up in nefarious and fuzzy ways in the eighties, so seen all existing stories. Didn't bother much with Hartnell back then, but thankfully saw the error of my ways when his stories were officially released...and love him.

As far as rewatches, I tend to revisit the Colin and Jon stories the least, with the exception of Season 7 which is marvellous. Still good stuff in those eras though. It goes in waves. I think in the last year or so I've very much been in the mood for the first Doctor.

I've seen every episode that's available at least once. But I have ny favourites. Classic wise I return to Pertwee probably most often and Troughton. And I've probably watched Sylvesters era far more than I should have but it always has a special place as it was my first era as a viewer. Rewatched C.Baker the least. And my knowledge of audio stories is pretty negligible.

Okay when I saw Daveyboy's thread I instantly thought I've seen the least of Patrick Troughton but I was wrong.

Went semi scientific dividing stories seen by total stories of each Doctor and I can reveal the percentages ( drum roll please ..... ) were a bit of a surprise honestly

Pertwee 41. 6 % ( but I do like him a lot. very fatherly and kind. I think I just haven't had time to watch him. I need watch Spearhead again as it was a few yeaars ago and then work forward)
Troughton 47% ( The audios really helped to spark my interest )
Tom Baker 57.7%
Hartnell 58.6

All the others 100%

Although I've far from seen every surviving episode, I've managed to watch at least one featuring every Doctor and companion so far (although I think Katarina may have appeared in Day of Armageddon for all of a minute).

I've never seen a Troughton, Ben and Polly episode though.

I go in and out of New Who, only watching particular episodes.
Plus I don't really have the patience to listen to audios, only if they are of the missing stories, although I tend to wait for the animated episodes or just read the book instead. I remember there were a few selections in my school library and I re-read quite a few of them.

Apart from New Who I've probably watched Peter Davison the least. I've seen all his stories but apart from the few stories I really like, I've only seen the others like once or twice.

Some of Tom Baker's I've watched so many times that I like to re-enact them with my cats. Infact I just watched Robots of Death today.

I've watched (or listened to, in the the case of missing episodes) everything multiple times and didn't even consider discussing the show online until I had that level of authority... but I don't expect the same kind of standard from everyone

It doesn't help when there isn't actually a full story available to watch the three of them together but at least there are odd episodes like The Moonbase where you can see them in action alongside Jamie off course.

Some interesting posts on the thread so far. Surprised at a few but as expected it's the first two Doctors that seem the least watched. I guess in Troughton's case that's more do with more of his episodes being missing than anything else but it's great people are checking out the audio's as well.

I think most people passionate enough to be on here will have that 'level of authority' on new who at least, and for my part, I only post on discussions on classic who if it's about an episode I've seen or I know am knowledgeable enough about the topic to feel I can make a contribution about the topic. I try to take it as, if you don't know, don't post. I would guess most others are the same (although there are probably a minority who try to act like they know more than they do) so this being the case, I don't think everyone has to have a complete encyclopedic knowledge of every episode to be worthy of being on here, as long as they try to stick to what they know.
