Hi there.. right firstly yes I know its still not perfect. BUT lets face it its so much better than when LN was in charge!! At least now we are getting some storylines.. some may sound like nothing new but maybe they aint, I think we should wait till they actually hit hit the screen before we judge & moan if it ain't any good. I mean it all depends on how they do it. All I'm saying is lets give it a chance. I think its improving so much imo.

They should resurrect the old adverts.

I have found the last two weeks a bit hit and miss to be honest.

Having said that the show is the strongest it's been since 2009 IMO.

I'm with you (like usual) couldn't care a jot about Cindy jnr, this market stuff getting right on my wick, and dont even get me started on Kat and Stacy I thought that kind of contrived crap was saved for hollyoaks.

I am past moaning about it, I catch the odd scene, but here is still nothing there to make me watch it again

You moan about something that you care about, I could not care less about it.

I only dip in and out of EastEnders these days. Every time - and I mean literally every time - I have dipped in recently, Stacey Slater has been crying. It's not exactly enticing me back in.

Some people are just not happy unless they are moaning about something, e.g EE.

After a strong December and January, February was a bad month. Stacey's return & the market protest were the only things worth watching. And, as a big Stacey fan, even I will admit that her return has been badly handled.

DTC is undoing everything Lorraine Newman did to the show, including the resurrection of Kat. She's gone back to 2010 Kat, and that's not a good thing.

Lacey Turner is an excellent actress and I've liked her scenes with Lily, Luke, Max & Lauren but so far her scenes with Kat have been a bit... stale.

Agreed, Katrina. They milked Stacey's return for all it's worth and it hurt the quality of the episodes. All the episodes with Stacey turning up at the end was just unnecessary. Why do that? I understand they want to gradually bring her back in to the show, but that wasn't the way to do it. It just felt like a shallow attempt by the producers to tease the viewers.

People always moan, Eastenders is in the greatest position it has been in for years. It isn't perfect but neither are any other Soaps.

thank you for some of the above posts that were so constructive and helpful.

the viewers who are genuine 'fans' of the show will still criticize because they care about the show, which is coming out of a long bad patch, but is now going in the right direction and hopefully by the 30th anniversary will be back on top.

Because people like to moan. People aren't happy unless there is something to moan about and if there isn't anything to moan about then someone somewhere will find something! haha

In your opinion. Some people can find something more enjoyable than you did, you know. Is that beyond the realms of possibility?

EE is still dire. Some of the storylines are far fetched bringing back Stacey was the wrong move ratings motivated.
