You do realise, Hayley and Beth have never been in the bottom two, ever! They are obviously very popular. ray is so arrogant it winds me up...Hayley's flying performance was breath taking and her skate was fantastic to. I think she deserved to be top tonight. This makes for a very interesting final

I'm sure a lot of Hayley's votes will come from Dan's fans voting for him - I wonder how far she would have got with a different partner?

I agree Ray might have ended up there because people assumed he was safe - all series we've had comments like 'might as well hand him the trophy now' and even a thread 'What's the point'

Well those viewers had a wake up call and I think his vote will shoot up next week.

People vote in the final who don't vote throughout the series, there's no way of knowing what people who've been voting for Sam will do with their votes - if they vote at all now he's gone, some people may have been voting tactically up to now - to try to ensure somebody else landed in the bottom two, two address a perceived injustice in the judges' marks or simply to 'stick it to Jason' - and some people will vote purely on what they see on the night.

Hopefully Jayne and Chris's indignation with the judges will prompt them to give Beth routines that properly showcase her strengths so that we get 'winning' performances from each of the three of them. And I think that they are each capable of a standout Bolero (are they re-choreographing or just reprising their oroginal ones, do we know?).

I'm looking forward to a strong final, as long as Jason can keep his mouth in check and Ashley 'girlfriend' Roberts gets minimal airtime.

I think the result is impossible to call at the moment.

If you listen to what Chris was saying about choreographing for Ray last night, you'll hear that he said (and I'm paraphrasing) that they have to choreograph to the celebs' strengths, but in Ray's case choreographing for him is a pleasure because he is strong all round and that opens up the possibilities both for them as choreographers and for his partner, who doesn't have to rein her abilities in. So – in the view of Torvill and Dean, at least – they already are choreographing to Beth's strengths.
