Not necessarily so - finals usually get more votes and Ray's fans may well now realise the dangers of assuming he is leading the pack. He will no doubt be working to make sure he does as well as he can next week.
Yes unfortunately. This is the final series and champion of champions - it would be a travesty if Ray didn't win as he is clearly the best dancer/skater that they've ever had from all the series. The only saving grace is its happened in the semi final and he might now get a surge of votes for the final. I appreciate Beth has a lot of fans but I personally really don't enjoy her performances. Yes she can do amazing lifts etc but for me they don't flow over the ice and it's like she thinks too much which affects the emotive side of the routines.

Whatever opinion others may have of Ray, I cannot believe anyone can deny his skills as a skater/performer. He is the reason I switch on week after week. I agree with many of the negative comments regarding the format, but if there was a DVD featuring Ray's performances alone, then I'd be first in the queue.

IIRC Wasn't Donal in the skateoff with Colleen in the semis in Rays year? Jessica finished third and Donal finished second after skating the Bolero against Ray? So your assumption is not correct.
