I do understand how annoying it can be when you think the results are not as fair as you'd like them, but to vote for a winner on this premise is a bit much. The judges will move on to their new jobs and aren't going to be effected as much as people seem to think...its the skaters who lose out who will feel it, especially if that skater has performed better. As much as I'd love Ray to win, and feel he performs and skates better and people vote for him for mainly the one reason - they enjoy watching him perform more than anyone else, I have to appreciate that theres no right and wrong and others see different things. I only hope Jason praises Beth next week and all the judges give her great marks, so that if she does win, at least I will feel its because the public genuinely thought she was the best there and not a reaction to whatever comments Jason made at the time.”
That's fair enough - but take tonight for instance. Her flying was the best of all of the, I thought; and her other skate was very, very good. She's technically better as a skater than everyone other than Ray.
So it's not at all about the judging bias; but I think it's fine for that to play a part. It's not the Olympics, it's soap/reality, really; so partly a personality contest and she has a lovely personality.
