I hope the judges give everyone 10's next week..

...and praise all three of them and criticise none. At least then the votes are more likely to be for who that person thinks is the best skater or whose performance they enjoyed the most (whether that turns out to be Ray, Beth or Hayley) and there is less chance of having a champion based on whatever the judges did or did not say.

Ray will get lots of 10s; Hayley will get some; Beth might get one.

Well imo, if they had any sense, they'd say nothing bad and just give everyone high scores and then at least the votes would be more related to who people thought was the best, and it not be related to (or a reaction to) whatever comments or scores they happen to give. Or voting to annoy a judge. Thats a pretty lame way to pick the 'champion of champion skaters'

Hayley will get 80.0
Ray will get 80.0
Beth will get 26.5

My prediction.

Assuming they're performing an old favourite, Hayley will get full marks, deservedly, for Jai Ho.

Probably unless she makes a mistake which is possible (like Suzanne perfoming Music this series), If she skates Jai Ho and does it cleanly I can see her easily getting 40.0. I've almost wanted Hayley in the skate off just to see Jai Ho once more as I know she'd almost certainly be saved after performing it in the skate off.

I couldn't care less about the scores on Sunday...I just want them all to be unremarkable so that most of the voting is based on talent and performance more than any other factor...and when the winner is announced (even if its not who I'd like to see win it) the remarks from his/her supporters are all about 'deserved winner as he/she was the best there' or 'I enjoyed his/her performances more than anyone elses' as its quite subjective who we see as performing best and if my favourite doesn't win, it will just be a case of agreeing to disagree as to who we think deserved it more. As long as I see very little of 'deserved to be champion after getting such low scores from the judges' or 'great to see him/her win as it really annoyed the judges'

It is clearly never going to be a level playing field, even if they all get 10s. The judges have differing opinions, so do the public. However, in the final it is down to the public and inevitably that means the most popular person (who may not be the best ice dancer) will win.

I was stunned when Beth won last year. Likeable she may be but Matt was the best skater.

I'll just find it funny if the laughing chipmunk doesnt win.

Nice.

My suspicions about what people are voting on get confirmed more and more by the day...and my suspicions that it has less and less to do with talent or performance are being confirmed more and more by the day too

Beth was a very deserving winner last year - she was magnificent - and like this series woefully under marked by the panel in favour their desired champion.

Matt was a Hayley - all faults blatantly ignored by the judges - and he never did learn to skate without being hunched over...., which never seemed to be picked up on.

Beth won because she turned in beautiful performances all the way through and maintained her dignity - exactly as she has done this series.

The British as a nation have a great sense of fair play - and don't like to see unfairness - and the ice panel aren't treating the remaining contestants objectively or fairly. I'm glad to see Chris Dean calling them on their scoring and comments at last - especially pulling up the skaters over their behaviour.
