Jason is a Coward!

I love how last night, he didn't dare shout back at Chris Dean, when in the past he has done with the pros when they have been defending their celebrity partner. I really hope next week that the gbp don't take his opinions and comments on board and vote for who they want to be the righful winner, not who the judges tell them to.

I think you will find that he is a bit more professional than Chris was! Apart from the fact that there was no time for him to do so, I don't think Jason needed to justify his opinion as he is a judge not Chris!

Given the twitter abuse Jason gets every time he gives his opinion on Beths performance (never criticises her skating ability - on the contrary) the fact that he sticks to his opinion shows he is not a coward at all.
Why should he cave in and say what he dosn't think - that would be hypocritical and cowardly!
It was one thing for Chris to voice his opinion on Beths skills and the score he would like to have seen her get - but he went to far in criticising the judges. I thought that was unprofessional. He should not voice his preferences of one over the others as he is mentor to ALL of them!
I agree the public should make up their own minds - not who the judges nor Chris tells them to vote for!

Judges are the ones who most need to justify their opinions.

And Jason is very 'unprofessional' as a judge, since he goes primarily by his own personal reactions rather than properly evaluating the performance, and because he's excessively unpleasant.

Some of Jason's blog comments on the semi-final are extremely unprofessional.

He couldn´t shout back, even if he had wanted too as the camera was not on him and the comment would have been missed ... I doubt he would have wanted to though, Jason made his points and had valid reasons for his critism of Beth´s performances. He has always been complementary of her technical skills but has simply stated time and time again that her performance skills are lacking ... that´s his professional opinion and he´s entitled to make it. Personally I agree with him, I find Beth dull to watch however great her technical skating may be and however nice a person she is. But the in show bickering is just ´entertainment and drama´ and the public will vote for who they want too ... Personally I thought Chris was unprofessional and shouldn´t be showing favourites.
