Recommend a cheap mini blender?

I've got one as well. It's only 230W but okay for blending liquids etc. Sod all use if you want it to chop anything remotely solid though - seems to just move it about rather than actually chop it. I wouldn't really classify it as a food processor anyway, it's a blender.

OP should say what they want to DO with a food processor... buying something cheap that doesn't do what you want it to is a false economy.

Chopping onions at the very least...especially if you want them fine. I also use it for pesto, chopping fruit for cakes, fresh herbs, breadcrumbs.

I make a lot of curries and garlic, ginger and onion is pretty much a staple base, so my Kenwood mini processor gets a lot of use. For under £20, the quality of this item is amazing. It's nice and weighty, the fitting is snug and it chops in nano seconds! Even if I need larger quantities, I often eschew my Bamix (medium size) or Moulinex (large size) processors and double or triple use the mini instead, as it is so convenient to clean and re-store.
