Where was the Daleks tribute?
Last year was DR Who,s 50 Anniversary, but it was also the Daleks 50 year annivery too, so why wasn,t there a tribute to them?

You mean other than the fact the anniversary special was fairly heavily focused on the time war between timelords and dalek's?.
The 50th tried it's best to celebrate everything about the show's 50 years. I know daleks are a big part of the show but if they went down the road of celebrating every important character's anniversary, they'd run out of time to make the actual show. A dalek tribute episode would lead for call's to a cybermen tribute where their anniversary came, then the master, silurians etc. basically I enjoyed day of the doctor, and thought it did a good job of celebrating all that encompasses the show, and although they only had minimal screen time, the story represented the daleks probably more so than others. |

Issue 470 of Doctor Who magazine has a special to celebrate 50 years of the Daleks.
http://www.thegallifreytimes.co.uk/2...azine-471.html Or maybe it's issue 471 - http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/dwm-471...leks-61447.htm |
