How many times do people have to be told Ray had NO ice dancing background AT ALL prior to DOI! He was a dancer and he had done rollerblading like most teenage lads that's all! It really is quite irritating that people keep stating something as a fact which is downright untrue.
Maybe there is some confusion with Chris Fountain who was an experienced ice hockey player before DOI? I appreciate that Ray started at a high level because he took to ice skating very naturally and was naturally talented so his progress may be less obvious to some but just to reiterate Ray had NO ice dancing background AT ALL! I've daewos on my ignore list so I can't see his posts any more but if it's something he's quoting me and saying how wrong I am then bore off. I can support who I want to. I haven't voted this series and doubt I will on Sunday but I'd like Beth to win. |

Wasn't he a ballroom dancer as a child and trained to a very high level add in his rollerskating experience it gives him an edge,

Of course you're entitled to your opinion and have every right to express it - but regurgitating misinformation isn't the best way to do it. If the best overall skater/performer wins it will be Ray - but I'll shed no tears if Beth picks up the trophy. I'll vote for both of them to make the final two - but then I probably won't vote. Just leave it to the rest of the GBP to decide. |

Ray was a junior ballroom dancing champion - but his rollerblading was no more than a hobby.

(The gloating on here may be bit nauseating though )

So how come you can point out about the misinformation and not get told to bore off.
