Hoping someone can help before I go mad!!!

Come home tonight and put sky on and the TV is stretched, don't know what techincal term is so apologies, think must be TV issue rather than sky? For example watching football and can't see scoreboard.

I have Mirai 32 inch TV, problem is ages ago I dropped the controls and haven't worked since. Never really need it till now as used sky remote.

Sky settings on picture is: scart/RF1 picture format 16:9 and RF2 picture format 4:3 which think is normal but like say think its more the TV setting.

Any advice please. Will buy a new remote if that will fix it just don't want to if won't do job.

Well I tried Google searching for 'Mirai 32 inch TV can I change picture size without remote?' and found no results. The problem is your aspect ratio is stuck. I couldn't check the user manual because you don't give the model number but the domain mirai.eu is up for sale, so probably can't download one anyway.

Looks like a new remote is your only (cheap) solution. I don't have Sky but terrestrial Freeview. I've set up Freeview HD broadcasts to display Screen Fit (full width 16:9), Freeview SD broadcasts to auto-wide (16:9) and Freeview SD 4:3 broadcasts to 4:3 with the ads automatically reverting to auto-wide.

Thanks for the replies. At work now so not got the model number. Like you say think a new remote is going to have to be brought.

It has always worked fine and then just last night just changed. I am blaming the kids

On the Sky Remote .................

Press TV then PLAY , this will bring up the aspect ratio's .

Use the arrow keys around the select button to choose 16:9 and then press select.

also pressing TV then Help on Sky Remote will flick through the AV source
