So Ray has been very good throughout, but Hayley deserves to win because she started averagely and has improved somewhat
Her routines are all pick dancing and lifts with a few steps skating to link them together. Send her out solo she skates like a novice.
Even with the flying routine, most of it was holding herself in poses. She touched the ice twice, and both times was clunky in the landing.
From the above article, Dan says about Hayley:
Quote:
“We took on board what they said about the technical ability and I’ve worked her so hard. She’s been game for trying loads of new steps and loads of new things. She’s willing to learn and she wants to get better every week which is what’s made her get better. I’m very proud that she’s bettered her technical ability as well. We both love to perform together but now she’s delivering the technique as well and that’s brilliant. I think she’s got the whole package now.”
Even if the technical side has improved (I can't see it), she's still well behind Ray and Beth and still needs Dan there to look good.
I'm expecting the showcase routine to have a lot of lifts, maybe from one pro to another. I'll be amazed to see any solo work.
