In tea...not in coffee. Never really put it on anything.

I can't think of the last time I actually used sugar.

I suppose around the rim of a daiquiri?

Hehe Billy, its a comfort knowing you are still about makes me chuckle (this comment should be in chatter..)

I may have a sugar in tea or coffee sometimes, if I am in the mood.

Never on cereal

Me neither. There's plenty of it in food anyway. Same with salt.

However, I'm interested in how others use the language

Same here, the only reason I have it in the house is for other people. If do I add sugar to anything then all I can taste is sugar which spoils it for me.

I used to put sugar in my tea and on my cereal. Two years ago I gave it up and no longer do either. I still use it for baking though. I've been trying to lower my carb intake but I find it immensely hard, I do wonder if there's a genetic component to addiction. My mom has a sweet tooth as well, always has.

I wouldn't worry about it. How much can the tax possibly be? Even with a 100% tax, that means a teaspoon of sugar will cost 0.8p instead of 0.4p. And most food and drink doesn't entirely consist of sugar.

Also there are plenty of sweet drinks that are sugar-free (not so much foods).

Good argument. Think that will work on nicotine and alcohol?

In coffee but not tea (tea with sugar in it is all wrong!), I put it on plain cereals such as cornflakes, rice crispies, Weetabix, shredded wheat etc and in porridge.

I bought some Truvia to replace sugar but it is absolutely disgusting.

On pancakes and waffles and donuts. Also in coffee but not tea (never tried it though)

I've been drinking less tea and coffee lately though and just going for hot water.

Edit: I usually sprinkle sugar on.

I don't add sugar to anything.
My uncle usually says "No thanks, I'm sweet enough" when asked if he wants sugar in anything.

Well it should as the government has no right to control what we do with our own bodies as they are ours and belong to us and not government.

Fine by me as long as you pay for it when you screw it up, not the tax payers.
