Yes your right, i suggested Eddie Izzard because of what he looked like in one photo and not because I thought he would be brilliant at playing an unhinged scheming mastermind. But since you need me to actually put that in words for you, well there you go I just did.

I presumed it must have been what he looked like in that photo that made you choose him as it couldn't possibly have been his acting ability, of which he has none. Is there a casting the Doctor/Master app which just brings up pictures of Eddie Izzard, Alan Rickman and Stephen Fry, etc?

Yes I'm clutching at straws. Let's end this conversation now. I clearly don't know what I'm talking about. Thanks for making it easy for me to see that

![]() He wouldn't be my first choice for The Master, but he'd surely be a good one if he was picked. Changing the subject just a little, I wonder if they'd consider having The Master regenerate into a woman? It would pave the way for a Doctor gender change in the future, if they wanted to go down that path, and also allow a Rani-esque antagonist without all those legal problems that using the character would involve... Personally, I think it'd be a terrible idea.

Yes, you're clearly barking. After all, it's not as if he's played an unhinged scheming mastermind before, with great success, in, say, a highly regarded US TV show like Hannibal...
