In a staggering attack on his debut album, The commander of the JArmy said he was forced to record “what sells” and said his track You’re Nobody was merely “filler” and not worthy of being a single.
Will he ever learn to shut up ?

He just digs a deeper hole for himself every time he open his sh*te-filled gob.
Hate him so much.

I love that he expected any different going on the X Factor. He really does think he's something special doesn't he?

I'd also like to point out, his spelling and grammar are appalling, yet he claims to be a serious singer songwriter? He doesn't even know the difference between your and you're.

I think he's trying to get dropped. I hope they don't, and simply mess him about, delaying future singles ect.

Seriously what did he expect going into The X Factor?

To go into The X Factor you're pretty much signing a contract to be their puppet.
How can he have just found out now?

Oh goody I love an Arthur story lol. Did he not go on and on about how he wrote his album? And he wrote his non-single filler track.

He's such an idiot, he is just going to blow at some point, and looks like he can't blame his PA this time

Well it is coming to something when we discuss James Arthur in the bona fide Music thread and not the X Factor thread!

He's likely to lose his contract as Cowell will regard him as a liability, not on message and bad for business.
Dumb ass needs to understand if you're a Cowell puppet you have to play the game... For a while at least...

It almost makes you wonder if Cowell is encouraging this erratic behaviour to try and create a "bad boy" image for him ?

But then you know if he's deliberately doing it just to get dropped, he'll sign with an independent label and he'll claim he can "finally produce the music he's always wanted to" or something equally as inane ..

Every time he opens his gob, he buries his career a bit deeper.

Problem for him is not only is he a gobshite with the XF winner label like a noose round his neck, other artists like John Newman and Sam Smith have come along to appeal to the same audience but they do it better and both appear to be far nicer people who play the game properly.

He is right though in what he says. He should have known how they treat the winners and never went onto the show in the first place. But he wanted a shortcut to fame, and his life is now screwed up because if it.

He can only blame himself for that though, no-one else.

But had he not gone on XF, we would not have known who he was, so he has the fame, and he is keeping himself in the spotlight when other XF winners would have been well into oblivion by now.

He is also creating a buzz around what his material will be like once he has left syco.

Don't be ridiculous - good grammar is not an important part of being a songwriter.

You're scraping the bottom of a barrel which is in fact full to the brim.

X-factor and his single are rubbish. He should be applauded for his honesty. watch the interview instead of reading just the quotes they choose to print that have been twisted and taken out of context.

How can someone watch the interview when the link is to an online text article?

What a pillock. Had he never seen an episode of X Factor before he auditioned?

Actually apart from supporting Rangers I would forgive him most things.
I like his bad boy image and pop music needs more bad boys.
I think he can do better music because he has the voice as well as the attitude, just needs the right songs.
