I do give her credit for doing some solo skating, but all she did were some crossovers and a spiral - pretty much what she did in her previous solo skate, and it was soooo slow.

Makes the cameraman's job easier too. With Beth they couldn't decide whether to focus on Beth, three people in sync or one of the pro females. Hayley gets the sole focus on her - which is much easier to follow.

Neither of then did the choreography. I suspect the fact Beth did very little skating and Hayley got some skating to do was not an accident. We were not allowed to compare their skating skills in those routines.

I think the two routines were quite well designed to address the perceived shortcomings of each of them: Beth that she can't let go and perform, Hayley that she can't skate.

I enjoyed both of them.

I think that's a little unfair, if she did it any quicker she was liable to fall over.
