Britain's Got Talent is the next one I watch, then XF and Celebrity. There'lll be a gap next January that DOI used to fill.
BGT is my favourite thread so I'll definitely see you there.

I think that new show Rising Star starts in January so hopefully that will fill up the DOI spot.

Well done to Ray & Maria.

I'm going to miss the DS forum fun of Dancing On Ice.

Bit of a flat series in which everyone knew from the off that Ray was going to win

Thanks for the laughs over the years everyone, the forum was more fun than the show was especially in the later series

See some of you later for BB Canada and then what's left of The Voice and then BGT in April

Just to add my thanks for the laugh and discussion each week, yes we blow hot and cold at times sometimes with good reason (in our opinion ) but we have a giggle too.

Finally internet is back!

Gutted for Hayley! I think Dan deserved the win, as well as Hayley, together more so than the other partnership!

He was the best skater, though. It would be worse if Beth had won!

Thanks again for all the laughs, it's been great!

I'm afraid I left DOI half way through to watch Call the Midwife (last in series). I'm delighted that Ray won, he deserved it, but I honestly thought Beth would win the public vote. I've enjoyed the show through the years it's been on and am sorry to see it go.

I know you're not the only person to say that (apols to the other earlier posters, but I just grabbed the latest one - sorry). But, I didn't find it flat at all, because there was a chance Ray wouldn't win. The psychology behind the public vote is complex - some will vote for the underdog, some will think their favourite's safe, etc etc etc. I was actually experiencing butterflies when they were announcing the top two and then the winner. Anyway, I do understand it's horses for courses, or whatever that saying is.

I didn't want Ray to win, (it was Suzanne or Beth for me when the lineup was first announced), but if the title of ultimate winner of Dancing on Ice was going to be given to the best all-round celebrity that the show has ever had, then Ray definitely deserved it.

I'm a total blubbering mess after that. Fab show so sad that's it's ended. As a life long Torvill and Dean fan the last ever tour show in Leeds is going to be torture!!!

Glad I missed it.
When Ray was getting 10's basically from the start there was no real contest it was just about the people making the final 3.
If producers hadn't lost the plot it wouldn't have been the final series. they replaced well liked Required elements with the most insane twists that ruined the show and more often than not backfired totally. the ever changing ice panel quickly just settled into a routine of Favourites no real constructive advice just all about shock and outrage.

D&T both had day jobs and trained to become Olympic champions I would love a series based on Ice we see Members of the public not only train but then try and make championships and really set the focus on the belief loads of people out there could be Champions.

Excellent.

Missing you on The Voice threads. The teams seem quite small this year without the Sulla votes.
Thanks I still make comments after the show but I am enjoying watching it away from the computor.

The show was great this evening. Well done to all involved. I didn't feel the 2 hours passing and everyone was brilliant; dancers, judges, presenters. It went out on a high with a great winner
