I think that was as close to the original as they were going to get. Wonderful.

Though what was the point behind the 2014 couples being behind them?

Okay, I might've gone "oh pfft here it is again" in my time, but I actually felt quite tearful at the end. I thought Chris was going to cry, too. Damn.

*sigh*

Wish the next twist would be Holly pushing Christine off my screen. Cannot take to her at all she is certainly a presenter I will not be missing.

Great to see Robin back on his skates.
A rose among thorns

Last ever bolero will be sad
We shall see

Jayne and Chris are sensational!
They ought to be good. They have been doing it for well over 30 years.

Brilliant, just brilliant! Amazing that they have the strength and agility to perform Bolero so perfectly at their age!

They are still so together, their free legs, their strides, they match each other perfectly, moreso that any other pairs skaters, even those that appeared at the recent Olympics.

They are class, and Chris is still supple enough to do the splits. They are in their mid 50's after all.

No pretense that it is about the skating - lines open before anyone touches the ice!
