Todays Are You being served on BBC2, was in memory of Frank Thornton who played Captain Peacock, nice thing to do but a bit late, as on the 13 March he would have been dead a year

    They repeated the episode, "Grounds for Divorce", on BBC Two when he died in March last year. They haven't removed the "In Memory of" from it.

    What normally happens with different edits of shows? Are these normally kept in the archive?

    The Dad's Army episode that was recoloured & restored a few years back had the special acknowledgements on the end at the time, but the latest repeat last year had these snipped off, to make it appear like a regular episode.
