Going back to the January edition of Doctor Who magazine, there's a survey to find the most (and least) popular episodes. I was wondering, to those who have filled this out, how highly you have rated some episodes (i.e. have you rated some least popular stories more highly than those that are more highly regarded.) Personally, having seen all the stories laid out in front of me, and having to rate them against each other, I've realised that some episodes that I thought were good, actually deserve a much lower rating compared to episodes I had previously overlooked.
Also, who did you pick as your top 3 favourite Doctors, companions, and special contribution award? For the latter, I've decided to pick one influential producer or other similar crew member, one writer, and one actor. For the actor I chose Tom Baker, because he helped thrust the show into popular culture, and his legacy is unfounded (when a lot of people think of Doctor Who, they immediately think of Tom Baker (The Simpsons etc.)); for the writer I chose Terry Nation, because as well as writing a number of fantastic stories, he also created the Doctor's greatest Nemesis. However, I'm a bit stuck on the third person. I was thinking either Sydney Newman or Varity Lambert as they were both very influential at the beginning. However, so was Donald Wilson and C.E. Webber, so some help in this respect would be appreciated.
