Sounds like a decent week, and it's good to see Lucy finally mentioned in the spoilers as by then she'll have less than a month left.

Will Sharon forgive Phil?
This version would instantly forgive him for doing just about anything. Another character steadily being ruined by Philth's malign influence. She is slowly becoming a doormat just like all those other women before her.

"A huge day for Dot" suggests Nick's funeral, which seems a bit soon since it was only filmed last week. I wonder where the extra episode will be, can't be an hour on Thursday because there's no football to force Emmerdale earlier that day, maybe Wednesday or two episodes Thursday (7.30 and 8.30.)

The BBC should run it for an hour on Thursday 7.30-8.30 and clash with Emmerdale, its what they always do to.

ITV would just respond by making Emmerdale an hour 7.00-8.00. BBC want to avoid clashes while trying to build EE back up, whereas ITV will jump at the chance to create a clash as they know they'll come out top.
so ITV will clearly go for a 7:00pm -8:00pm slot leaving ITV hard up for an hour while the BBC gets a good rating for EastEnders hour long while bumping the 9pm Drama. Hour One show 7-8 should do a fairly decent job anyway. |

On-location filming is usually filmed closer to the airing date anyway I think.

Looks like this week will see some of the seeds planted for Lucy's death.

Is there any particular reason why there's a fifth episode that week? Not that I'm complaining mind!...

I wonder if Aleks is the unlikely individual Lucy teams up with.

Spoilers released early this week! They look good, lots of characters I'm interested in, and I'm especially glad to see the Carters back. I wonder if the phone call is regarding Lee? Maybe Mick finds out he's coming home but he's sworn to secrecy as to why (something shady around the way he's leaving?) Or I suppose it could be something around Stan. The only thing I don't really like the sound of (ironically enough, considering Johnny is my favourite character) is the part about Linda and Johnny. Do we really need their relationship to be fractured any further? I'm interested to see what the misunderstanding is about but I have a feeling it will be something related to Whitney yet again. I really don't want Johnny's storylines to keep going round in circles. Will try to reserve judgement for now as these spoilers are so vague, but I hope it's not just more of the same.I'm looking forward to the Lucy stuff. Her character really is so much more interesting now, knowing what we know! I also think the 'unlikely individual' might be Aleks. |

Bah, only three episodes the week before? That's the worst kind of reasoning for a five episode week1!
