Warning - some spoilers for The Simpsons episode 'Diggs'

Spoiler
In The Simpsons episode 'Diggs', Bart visits his new friend Diggs in hospital after Diggs breaks his arm jumping from a tree. Bart notices the writing on his cast and says he must have had a lot of visitor. Diggs says that no one has visited but these are things he would like to visit him.

Two of the things are Doctor Who related.

One is The TARDIS and the other is Dalek # 7.

What's does Dalek # 7 refer to?

I'm not sure they ever had as many as 7 Daleks. Unless you count the cardboard cutouts

I noticed the reference too and it raised a smile. There's some definite Doctor Who love from The Simpson's writers whether it be the occasional appearance of Tom Baker's Doctor, or someone's tombstone reading "He will knock four times" in the Treehouse of Horror episodes.

The Dalek you're referring to as 'Dalek Seven' should more correctly be referred to as 'Dalek 1 - Seven', as he consists of the top section of one of the original Shawcraft moulds (Prop One, aka 'Thin Lower Collar') built for 'The Daleks' in 1963 and the skirt section of the seventh prop (prop seven, aka 'Film Style Stunt' or 'Misaligned Balls') built for 'The Chase'.

Dalek Eight is designated 'The Thin Dalek'.

His purpose is sinister.

They've had him and the TARDIS in Futurama at least once too
