Is it just us in here? *waves to any lurkers*

Yes seems Ronnie got the gun from this guy but maybe also something has happened between them? Intrigued by him though.

I loved the scenes of them discussing moving the body. It did make me laugh how the group got bigger by the minute I knew Dot was going to do that. Such a sad scene her in the car Not sure what else they are going to throw at Charlie. Been a difficult start to the year for him. Wife in Coma. Caused by his dad. His mum betrayed him by helping Nick. Sleeping with Roxy and now this with Dot,

Was nice to see some happier Charlie/Ronnie scenes in the Flashback

It seems it is just us!

Very intrigued by the scene between Ronnie and Richard Blackwood's character in the flashback episode. No doubt we'll find out what the link between is as Ronnie continues to recover. I thought the ever-growing crowd was amusing as well, reminded me of an episode of Poirot where he gathers everyone into a room before saying "whodunnit" I thought the whole Square was going to be in there in that room before long!
My heart went out to Dot too, she looked so scared and upset in the car. Dot is like everyone's grandma, you just want to give her a big hug! Poor Charlie, you're right that he's had such a traumatic start to the year. All that and it's still only February! His head must be spinning the poor thing!
And it was great to see Ronnie and Charlie together in the flashback. Apparently the flashback was filmed only last month so it must have been weird for the actors pretending it was several months ago, a simpler time, before all the trauma of 2015 happened for Charlie and Ronnie!
Can't wait for tonight's episode - completely live tonight! Hopefully Charlie and Ronnie will be a part of it!

I missed it Though I spoke to someone who did see it and they said it looked great. Any tidbits from Charlie/Roxy/Dot?
Bless Charlie, sleeping in the car all night outside the police station like that. He obviously loves his grandma. I like how loyal he has remained to her.

I's on here if you want to have a look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4zc2sgPSfQ Charlie gets arrested which was obviously tonight and there was a bit where Charlie/Roxy are sitting he puts his hand on hers and says something like "I didn't know you had feelings?" and she says "who said anything about feelings" not really sue where they are going to take it after seeing that. Looking at episode guides cast lists and Ronnie doesn't seem to be appearing, they go up to the 6th March just now

Bless Charlie, I adore his relationship with Dot. All a bit of a mess just now though with her confessing

Can't edit my post but new article

WARNING SPOILERS http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...p5a7QJu7Vsa2rT
Spoiler

When Aleks gets stuck at work, Roxy and Charlie finds themselves alone and unable to put off discussing the situation any longer.

As they finally start to talk about what happened, it becomes clear Roxy has feelings for Charlie, but they are soon interrupted by Aleks.

Not sure how this will go now. If Charlie finds out she has feelings. I always thought it was more her than him. He just made a mistake as his head is all over the place just now. But then the little looks etc have made me wonder how he really feels. Everything else is just happening just now that we don't really know his true feelings. I can hope but still not liking where it's going

Ooh, thank you for the link. Some really exciting things coming up in the near future, looks like they're really going to sustain the momentum after the excellent Live Week. Very interesting to see that Charlie and Roxy discuss these feelings. Their kiss is something that's not going away in a hurry! Whether their kiss remains a one-off mistake or develops into something more remains to be seen... Shame to hear there is no sign of Ronnie in next week's episodes. Hope she's back soon.
And yes, poor Dot in jail! How will she cope? I agree that Charlie and Dot's relationship is very sweet. Fatboy and Dot's relationship is nice, but I prefer Charlie's relationship with Dot I hope Yvonne comes back too, and soon! I hope that Pauline McLynn hasn't finished filming. She was away for months between a couple of her stints, so all is not lost!

Ooh I didn't notice this either! Thanks for posting

Oh no! These "feelings" really complicate what is already a complicated situation between Roxy and Charlie. To kiss is one thing, but then when there's feelings in the mix, that's messy! Makes me think that neither of them will be able to forget about this kiss and may want to give in to these feelings again. I've noticed those looks too that Charlie's been giving Roxy, so there seems to be feelings on both sides! I don't like where this is leading either. With all that Charlie's been through in the last few months with his Dad and Ronnie's accident, even his love life isn't free from drama and stress!

Here's hoping we'll see more of Charlie in the coming weeks on EE!

Haven't logged on here in a while now, but wow, what an episode it was last night! And what a couple of episodes it's been too! I thought that Aleks was surprisingly calm when he realised the truth last night. I would have expected him to have kicked off big-time! I wonder what's going to happen next with Charlie/Ronnie/Roxy ... Charlie never makes things easy for himself, does he?

Isn't he being written horribly just now? Can't say I'm enjoying it and I am finding it hard to believe that He now loves Roxy. Well I say love but he pretty much turned against her by telling her to stay away from them. I'm hoping it's going to end soon though as It's is becoming extremely more frustrating lol.

I'm not enjoying the change in Charlie at all either. With all the events with the Roxy/Ronnie/Charlie love triangle and his ultimatum to Roxy this week, I've really started to go off the character of Charlie big-time - something I thought I'd NEVER say even a couple of months ago (though of course Declan Bennett remains as gorgeous as ever). Demanding for Roxy to stay away from her own sister?! He'd always been nice and sensitive (always a little shady but always meaning well and never downright nasty ... until now), so I don't know where this sudden nastiness has come from. I'm hoping that Charlie can be redeemed asap by the writers as I really don't like what he's become right now!

Yea I'm hoping he will realise that what he said to Roxy was uncalled for and that shutting her out of her family isn't the way to go. Now Aleks has gone she is going to need them. And not forgetting Amy, she deserves to see her family too! Not sure why the writers have went this way with Charlie. Maybe it's all building up to something or maybe it was for Aleks' exit. I think he can be redeemed, all it takes is a decent story again and people will move on

Roxy, good on her, has been ignoring Charlie's ultimatum and going to see Ronnie anyway (and did tonight, what an explosive cliffhanger that was! What's Ronnie going to do tomorrow!). I agree that Charlie can be redeemed given the right story. Some characters have done awful, awful things, been really downright nasty to other characters and have been redeemed, so all is not lost yet!

Oh dear after tonight Charlie best hide

Hate the way this has gone. If she is going to forgive her sister then she could quite easily forgive Charlie. Even if they don't work out as a couple do we really need to see her get revenge?

I agree. It's a shame they took Charlie/Ronnie/Roxy down this route. Ronnie sounded quite ominous when she told Roxy to not let on to Charlie that she knows about the affair. Wonder what's going to happen next!

Yep it is. Would like to think they wouldn't go down the revenge route, I think everyone is expecting it so kinda makes it less interesting. Bit predictable. Would like to see her trying to work on the marriage and being a family. Not sure it is going to happen though. If the rumours about Declan leaving are true then we can't possibly get the happy ending, or can we?

Yeah, I wouldn't like to see Ronnie go down the revenge route either. I'd like her to try and work things out with Charlie too, tell him she knows about the affair, and try and talk things out with him and see if there's a chance they can get past the affair, instead of concocting a plan for revenge.

It seems revenge storylines are a bit ten-a-penny of late on EE, so I'd prefer if a different angle was explored for this story. I've got to say, I've enjoyed Charlie's scenes more this week as they've involved Phil and the Mitchells/Ben et al rather than the love triangle (Declan looking especially handsome this week!).

Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if the rumors are true and Charlie Jr does leave. Unfortunately I've seen from posts on this forum and others that people have turned against the character because of the way he has acted in the aftermath of the affair with Roxy, and I can't say I'd blame them. I've been finding him very, very hard to like also of late.

I agree about his scenes this week. Have been a lot better and I actually thought it was nice to get a Charlie and Ronnie scene. I'm beginning to wonder if she really wants to work at it, she loves the idea of a family and the scenes with him made me think that maybe it wont be all about revenge. I'm just never sure whether to believe her lol, she seemed really concerned about Dot and wanting to get back to normal. I have my fingers crossed that they can work at it but wont hold my breath

You can see how quickly people can turn on characters, even the Carters are getting a lot of dislike now. Charlie has been a bit of a prat but he still is a good guy. Not defending what he did as I think it was horrible for him to change to Roxy and agree about his behaviour with the whole Roxy affair but I do like to try and look at big picture and he has been through a lot this year. I mean you are surely going to have a bit of a breakdown and he seen comfort in someone and it messed with his head. I'm hoping now that Ronnie is on the mend they can get back to some normality

I also do hope that Ronnie is going to work at having a family with baby Matthew and Charlie instead of going down the revenge path. It is true that you never know just what she's going to do, she can be unpredictable, really kind and caring some times (like with Dot's trial) and then getting involved with these gangsters and getting up to shady dealings and business the other times! Like you said, I won't hold my breath!

I do think Charlie is a good guy deep down and I think he can be redeemed. His behaviour in the Roxy affair was awful, true, but as you said he has been through so much this year and something's gotta give! Maybe he was acting out of frustration with the ultimatum to Roxy telling her to stay away, just said out of confusion and anger rather than true malice? His upcoming scenes will prove whether this behaviour was just a blip, or the heralding of a nastier side to Charlie. I look forward to seeing where Charlie goes from here!

Think some people are still being a little harsh with Charlie. They have made up their minds they don't like him now so can't see any good. Tonight's episode showed how worried he is for Dot. The stuff with fatboy was said out of worry,I'm sure he didn't really mean what he was saying and I think fats was just as harsh with Charlie. Some things may be true that Nick came back into their lives but I don't think he knew this would all happen. I really enjoy his scenes with Fats so glad they made up afterwards. I am hoping Dot will be found not guilty and things can start to go back to some sort of normality. Having Dot back on the square and hopefully Ronnie soon will be better for Charlie and we can move on from the hospital and prison scenes which have gone on forever. He needs a new story now

Yeah, I'm warming to him again more these last couple of weeks. A lot of characters go peaks and troughs, if you will, times when they're nice and kind, and other times when they're a bit of a tool, so to speak. Yes, Charlie had a bit of a "jerk phrase" a month ago or so, but I think he's been redeeming himself over the last couple of weeks. It's a shame some people have permanently gone off the character, have decided they don't like him anymore no matter what, and don't give him credit for the good he's doing right now.

He loves Dot, he was even going to say that he killed Nick to get Dot off the hook! I didn't judge him for what he did to Fats - Fats dished it out just as much and they made up fairly soon after. I really hope Dot is found not guilty too. (BTW, how cruel was it of the writers having the verdict as the cliffhanger on a Friday evening and making us wait all weekend for it? The teasers! ) I agree Charlie needs a bit of a change of scenery from the prison or hospital, hopefully, like you said, if Dot is found not guilty (fingers crossed for tomorrow night!) and Ronnie is released from hospital, this will be possible.

He was definitely a bit of a tool with the Roxy stuff. Was pleased that the scenes with them on Friday led to nothing. Thank goodness, lets hope it stays that way

Yep the teasers, good job weekends always seem to fly

I think we might be coming up soon to the time where Sam W is filming Mount pleasant. Can't say for definite but think she has been filming for 3 or 4 weeks now? How do you think it will be written in? unless of course it isn't and we wont really notice her gone.

I think Declan has been on holiday, (might even still be) think I seen something about him being in LA or NY or something.

Agreed, I'm glad that the affair between Roxy and Charlie seems to have cooled off and that those scenes didn't lead to anything.

Poor Dot!! (weep) I honestly thought she was free when they said "Not guilty of murder" and was starting to celebrate and then the manslaughter verdict came in ... Boo! Poor Dot.

Ooh, interesting that some time out may have had to have been arranged for Sam W while she films Mount Pleasant. I wonder how she'll be written out if the need arises? Maybe Vincent ups the ante and she feels like she needs to get away for a while. But of course she's still recovering from her accident and will obviously want to bond with Baby Matthew so maybe not!

As you said, maybe it won't be written in, and maybe they'll have made her film a lot of scenes before she went to film Mount Pleasant and just slot them in intermittently over those 3 or 4 weeks. That's interesting about Declan Bennett being on holiday ... so then again, perhaps that might suggest that Ronnie and Charlie go away for a break with baby Matthew onscreen? Ronnie cheerily says, "Let's have a little trip away" but in reality she's hiding from scary Vincent ...
