I saw this snippet from The Sun and was reminded of previous discussions on this forum regarding whether Caprice has lopped off the years as she has grown older, in the manner of Brigitte and Jackie.

Jordan, 26, asks in her column "Caprice - show us your birth certificate.

"I've had emails from loadsa people who say they knew you when you were the same age as them. And they're all 41."

If Caprice is 41, should we now all patronise her and say she looks simply great for her age rather than simply great?

she has a very good surgeon if she is 41, even though her face isn't very mobile at the moment she is almost wrinkle free

Despite everything she's done to herself, Jordan still has a very pretty face and certainly a more expressive one than Caprice.

The interesting question is why some people think she is ugly when she's not. Perhaps, as you suggest, it's her personality. But even there, her Katie personality is not so bad.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which is why some of us still remain perplexed that Nadia is considered to be, by certain FMs, one of the greatest beauties of our age.

Obviously it's all subjective anyway, but I guess I'd describe her facial features as "sharp" and her vocal characteristics as "nasal" ..... not pleasant to my eyes/ears .....

I wouldn't have said Caprice is over 33.If i had to guess, i'd say,early/mid 30's.

I was referring to her personality, she may have a pretty face but she is not a pretty person.

I think Jordan makes the most of her looks but is not a conventional beauty. But men are not focussing on her face anyway.

As to her personality, I actually quite like her. She is very forthright but seems to restrict her bile towards those who have been equally scathing about her. However, I would need to wear ear muffs around her as I find her voice very grating!

Jordan is pretty when fully made up etc, suppose we all would be if we had hairdressers and make up artists at our beck and call.

I think we can take it as read that someone who has had as many breast enhancements(?) operations as Jordan has is not keen on the natural look.

Whatever Jordan's personality or looks she has made a lovely mother, caring for her child through hell and high water, and in Harvey's case they must have been thorugh Hell!

How very unlike Caprice who, on the channel 5 programme, ended up breaking her 'model' baby's toe and bouncing it from the bed to the floor. That was when she wasn't feeding or changing its nappy with a scarf over her face to block out the fumes.

But as Caprice said, she felt too young to have babies just yet. Well, if she really is a lot older than she currently claims to be, she might have to get a move on.

Well she certainly has lots of help bringing up Harvey, and lots of money too,she may be a single mother but there are a lot of mother's in the same position with no help and no money, and I'm sure that if Caprice did have her own baby she would not bounce it from bed to floor, she would have a nanny to look after it. Having your own baby if completely different, you just can't compare it to looking after a 'model 'baby.

You miss the point about 'model' babies.They were specifically designed to show teenage girls in the US the realities of being responsible for a real baby 24 hours a day without respite. The young girls in question had been hell-bent, prior to the experiment, to get pregnant. Most had second thoughts at the end of the experiment and felt that motherhood should be postponed until at least they themselves had grown up.

Real babies could not have been used in the experiment for obvious reasons. However, I think the model baby used by Caprice was extremely realistic. I did not realise that they were designed to excrete and hurl vomit. The facial movements too were very sophisticated.

As to Jordan, I have neither seen nor read anything to suggest she is not a very good mother. Obviously, her money cushions her in a way denied to many single mothers. However, she appears to have strong family ties and the kind of resiliant personality that would have coped even if she had not been a success in her chosen field.
