NowTV on Youview
Hey does anyone here know when NowTV are going to offer their full NowTV service on Youview rather than just the movies?
very frustrating because I would like to get my NowTV box out of the way (want to cut down on wires) and as most of the F1 is only live on sky then I am forced to keep the box! |

But will it be worth it?
I only ask because I have the Youview box and the NowTv box connected to the same router but when watching the Youview box for a film it buffers to make it unwatchable but the NowTV boxon the same film is perfect. So it is the box! |

yes!
The youview is connected straight to ethernet and NowTV is via a not so great WiFi connection! + 1 less box and a whole less wires! |

There's an issue with the way the YouView box shows live broadcasts over the internet, hence the reason you can't get the full Now service on YouView (or other services such as Connect TV). The internet channels which BT and Talk Talk show use a different protocol.
YouView have been saying for well over a year now that they're working on a fix, but don't hold your breath! |
