Obviously Steve will resist any move to move him to evenings or weekends though. We might hear something this year or it could be a few years yet before any change. It all depends on how brave Bob Shennan is. Incidentally if Steve were to be replaced it's likely that Simons drivetime show would be extended and start at 4pm, which makes a lot more sense.”
Is it me or is this post just another classic DS guess work item?
"My understanding", "We might hear something this year or it could be a few years yet before any change" etc. I'd guess that things will be exactly as they are this time next year.
If a daytime slot comes available, it certainly won't be Feltz or Whiley that takes it. Jo is perfect in the slot she currently does, however, when she covered Wright's show she was yawn inducing for an afternoon slot. More likely than not Sara Cox will be the first in the queue for a slot,
Oh dear, now I am guessing!
