Kielty and Tarrant? Neither have an absolute clue how to keep a three hour programme continously interesting.”
I don't know how anyone can say Tarrant is not a "seasoned DJ", having spent well over a decade as the breakfast DJ on Britain's biggest commercial station at the time. He pulled in absolutely loads of listeners and was hugely influential, so I'm pretty sure he was able to make a "continually interesting" programme for, I think, more than three hours.
Presumably the idea is you're not a DJ unless you've done overnights on a local station or something, if you came via the telly you'll never be a DJ even if you've done it for half your life.
