Saw this when surfing through the BBC News website a few minutes ago:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-26566092

This will be great news for people who liked Ashes to Ashes and Line of Duty.

Delphox is a Pokémon...so does that mean she could be the Master hell bent on revenge and becoming the very best, like no-one ever was?

On this forum, you're going to need a lot of fish.

To catch him (the doctor) is her real test, to train him(in evil) is her cause

While Keeley is always great, the look of the character seems a bit close to Miss Foster and Mrs Wormwood. I suppose "evil businesswoman" is always going to look a certain way.

Surely Mrs Wormwood's look is a matter of your imagination? Or was there one in Who that I've forgotten?

I mean Samantha Bond's evil businesswoman character from The Sarah Jane Adventures.

This is her, if you wanted to refresh your mind.

When I saw the article on the BBC News Website, less than five minutes later, I thought, "Maybe she's the Rani in disguise."

A lot of you on this thread, have thought that.

She could be River Song in another regeneration. Or she could be a female Master. Or even a future Doctor.

The article did say that she holds a dark secret.

Could she be the Doctor's Mother, regenerated? Most of us have seen The End of Time, and seen Claire Bloom as the Mysterious Woman, so she could be her....I've just thought. She could be Jenny in another body.

Anyway, it's all just guesses at the moment. Good ones, I think. But whoever she reveals herself to be, I think the viewers are going to be rocked by this.

Going back to what someone said earlier about Mrs Wormwood from SJA. She can't be her, as she isn't Gallifreyan, therefore cannot regenerate.

I have a vague recollection that the Bane can shapeshift. Take over someone else's body, but in a more mature programme such as DW, I don't think they would include SJA characters, or enemies. Other than the obvious (Sarah, Luke and so on).

or....and just go with me on this as I know its a ridiculous and insane concept...maybe, just maybe shes a brand new character? Nah. Silly me. Course not.

Is this just a thing now? We get a new character and one promo picture and straight away its the Rani, the master, River, the Doctors mother, the doctors daughter or the doctor himself? Based on what exactly is anyone saying this? Its getting beyond a joke now.

She originally appeared as the typical "power-dressed" businesswoman, just like the character played by Sarah Lancashire and Keeley's forthcoming character.
