Hi, thinking about putting my 37" Samsung UE37EH5000 HDTV on my wall. No idea what I'm doing lol

What mount would I need? How would I disguise the cables running down the wall?

Thanks

This will hold all the equipment and hide the cables and all you need for the tv is a wall mount.

Ok, bought a bracket, but how easy is it to hide the 4 cables that come out the back of it?!

bracket is easy to fit, just follow the instructions and you will be fine, Word of warning make sure there are no wires or pipes in the wall you are about to mount your TV to.... If there is you can pick up a few sensor tools that will help you avoid them.

for the love of god use a spirit level.......................................................................... you are going to be looking at this TV almost every day for years to come, A lob sided tv not only looks awful but will drive you nuts. If you have a dado rail, do not use that as a ref point. when you step back it may look off but as long as the spirit level was used correctly the chances are the dado is lobbed

B&Q do trunking to help hide the cables, I have used it my self and it looks ok, cheapest and best way to hide those wires with out needing a some one to plaster,

you may find the power cable on the TV is too short to reach the plug (god knows why china thinks the rest of the world have plug sockets half way up a wall) so you may need to custom an extension. If your no good with electrics ask some one who is to do it for you.
Its only 3 wires so they wont charge much.

good luck

Always a good idea

While a spirit level is generally a good idea many rooms aren't level, and you're FAR better off setting it level with the room than a spirit level in that case - in the dado example, setting it level with the dado will look perfect, setting it with the spirit level will look crap.

While B&Q sell trunking, they are VERY expensive, local electrical suppliers are usually half the price - if you're looking for self-adhesive trunking, it only comes in the smaller sizes as well (but the largest type is usually big enough).
