Would that have something to do with GOT being shown at 2am monday morning?
It was the 9pm streaming on Monday that had problems. I think a lot of people were unaware that it was available on catch-up before then and didn't check earlier, hence the problem. I doubt if that many people stayed up until 2am on a work day.

So how does Now TV actually show what programes it has available, as it's streaming only, are all SKY 1 programes available or only a selection?

The Simpsons is now available on Now TV - it was previously one of the blocked shows.

I have a Now TV box and there is a section just for live TV. You can see what is on and the next 2 hours worth (I think).

The rest is all the on demand shows.

So you either select to watch something from catch up section or live section.

The link already given shows what is available on catch up, and the NOW TV forum has a daily thread (which you can email subscribe to) giving the list of shows which will not be available live- that is getting smaller and smaller all the time. Especially now The Simpsons will be available which is awesome news.

Did wonder if we'd get it after I saw the news about the streaming becoming available in the US for the first time.

The best tenner I ever spent was on the box and they've really brought the Entertainment Pass content up since I joined 6 months ago. I feel it would justify a price rise now, whereas I didn't before.

Down with that sort of thing.

Well they've always been open about the fact £4.99 is a trial price, even if the end date given has moved back a couple of times now

They got their fingers burnt trying to charge £15 just for the movies originally, so I don't think we'll see a price rise soon.

Having said that, £8.99 for the movies and £4.99 for the entertainment pack isn't far off the original £15 anyway.

I tried out both and, to be really honest, find that all but one or two films released recently really aren't worth watching. Still, a very good price if you use it as a replacement for going to the cinema.

Not available early on catch up this week, so maybe more likely that the service seize up again at 9pm tonight

Great news that The Simpsons is now available! Hopefully other right restrictions will be negotiated and lifted soon too!

No only live.
Really grateful even for this though.
I believe the big deal done in the US recently was also for streaming/live, not on demand/ catch up

Not really that bothered if I have a wait a few hours. I only caught up with the first three seasons of GoT over the last couple of months when I started using Now TV.

Prices on Movies and Entertainment are rising on 29 May to £9.99pm and £6.99pm respectively. Sport remains unchanged at £9.99 per 24 hours.
See foot of page at https://shop.nowtv.com/

However, Sky is offering good bundled deals combining Now TV with its broadband:
1. Entertainment and unlimited broadband £12.50pm + £15.40pm line rental (extra £10pm for fibre)
2. Movies and unlimited broadband £12.50pm + £15.40pm line rental (extra £10pm for fibre)
3. Entertainment and Movies and unlimited broadband £17.50pm + £15.40pm line rental (extra £10pm for fibre) http://www.sky.com/shop/nowbundle/

Service went down at half time during Lpool Chelsea game. This obviously annoyed people who had bought a pass for the football and heineken cup rugby. Also affected Entertainment and Movies - hence the backlash on social media.

Service is dire issuing free passes as compensation is all well and good but you use it and the service remains poor.

I think £6.99 for Entertainment Pass is fine and it's an increase i'll be willing to pay certainly.

I agree the service outages aren't good enough however last time the refund process was automatic- and in my case given to people who hadn't tried to watch when it was last down.

Surprize, surprize more problems tonight during Game of Thrones live broadcast.

In the last few months I have received from Now TV;

Free Sports pass as apology for poor service
Free 1 month entertainment pass as apology for GoT going down.
Cash refund for yesterdays football going down.

Dire service.

I'm presuming that the catch up is still ok and it's only the live feed that's playing up?

Cheers Tom

The servers obviously can't cope with high demand. Not only did I lose the feed at one point during GoT last night, but the picture was frigging awful.

Still, I'm willing to file it under 'teething problems', although it does feel like we're the guinea pigs for Sky's proposed satellite-free future

If you are watching catch up during a high demand period (i.e GoT monday night or live football) the entire system can go down - as it did on sunday.

Entertainment package customers seem to be giving it the benefit of the doubt being able to watch on demand later if live broadcasts crash. However, I was watching GoT last night half expecting the service to crash (it did at one point) hardly relaxing. why risk trying to watch live sport - may as well go the pub.

How did Sky not envisage high demand for the likes of GoT? How can BT Sport and Netflix cope but Sky can't? The service is currently not fit for purpose. Some people are buying NTV boxes from Argos and I believe Sky are now bundling Now TV with broadband (contracted) - glad I didn't do that!

The Now TV ads are very shiny but everything after that is tin pot. Crap website, no phone number and staff who provide generic cut and paste responses to complaints. No explanations given about why the service crashes and what they will do to rectify.

I've been a customer since November and I certainly have been satisfied with the service I have gotten. There have been many improvements since I got my first Now Tv box also in terms on content available.

Clearly though high demand for GoT is something which should have been anticipated and after the first lot of problems sorted out.

I got an automatic email and refund (even though I hadn't tried to watch while it was apparently down) after the first set of problems, so it's not as though they do nothing about these things as the poster above me suggests.
