I got an automatic email and refund (even though I hadn't tried to watch while it was apparently down) after the first set of problems, so it's not as though they do nothing about these things as the poster above me suggests.
Getting a free pass once is fine but when the service goes down again and they do the same thing it becomes futile. Free passes won't rectify a fragile service.

If you pay for something i.e 3 football matches last sunday you expect to get it.

Check out the NTV community page, their facebook and twitter feeds to see just how many people are brassed off with regular blank screens.

I agree you expect to get what you paid for, and understand totally that people are cheesed off.

But since joining in November i've had and continue to have great service with them.

Now TV obviously need to look into applying a consistent experience to all their customers. But this one is more than happy.

I started using the service pretty much from the start watching the three Lions tests without a problem. That was before the service became really popular. On paper it is great but I can no longer risk paying a tenner not knowing whether I will actually be able to watch the product.

Daughter has the Entertainment pass, I'll ask if she had any issues yesterday but every other time I've asked if she's had any of the buffering issues she's said no, everything has been fine.
Problem is that she doesn't use it every day so it may not have even been powered up...

Cheers Tom

Since I've had Now TV, I've been given a free month of Entertainment, a free month of Films & now been offered a £10 voucher for the shops

The issues have never affected me that much, so I'm happy

...and now there's been an announcement that the entertainment pass price rise scheduled for 29May has been postponed or maybe even abandoned?

"The price rise is being put on hold. Entertainment Month Passes will continue to be £4.99 a month, and Sky Movies Month Passes will continue to be £8.99 per month.
We're in the process of updating the entire NOW TV site with this information, but it should all be correct very soon. "

I think £5 for the entertainment pack ain't bad value for money especially if ya wanna watch *game of thrones* ... Sky usually are ripoff merchants!

Except the first 3 seasons of GOT finish today, and The Walking Dead isn't on there anymore, so I'm not all that happy with Now tbh

Now TV had the rights to stream the new series live and on catch up (7 days per episode) from Fox.

That new series finished a few weeks ago so it won't be on catch up now.

You should be able to stream the live repeated episodes though

Well I sat down to watch the new Simpsons live Sunday and the service was down. I sat down to watch Game of Thrones on catch up today and with 10 mins left (no spoiler but an absolute nail biter moment) it goes down again.
No mention of compensation from Sunday.
Not happy with Now TV at all.
Oh and am still waiting for the update to get ITV Player despite the majority of their advertising making out it's available for all now.
