Storylines you'd wish you had watched
I think we've all been guilty of this. You seen the a glossy trailer on TV, seen the magazine coverage or hear people talking about storylines on this forum so you tune into what ever soap and manage to catch the climax of the story, the best week where it all kicks off, you've enjoyed what you've seen but wait a minute you've just missed the whole line. Well done you!
Sometimes I kick myself at having tuned in too late to the story, them's the breaks with soaps though but there are two that I wished I had seen the whole thing:Judgement day for Cain, I sadly missed out on all the build up so was a bit confused at who, what, where or why things were happening on the climax of the episode, it was still good though and got my interest for a while. I also wished I caught all the storyline arc of the Who pushed P.R in Neighbours. Any there any storylines you wished you caught? Storylines in which you were not born or too small to see when shown live, don't count. |

Not so much a storyline but a time in EE i would of love to have seen was the Angie and Den years. From only clips i have seen, Angie would of been one of my fav females and her and Den were so toxic to watch.

A couple stick in my mind, but it's mainly because I was a bit too young at the time....I started watching Hollyoaks in 2001 so caught the end of Luke being in the show. I really wish I could have seen Luke's rape storyline as it's still talked about today. I also missed the episode of Eastenders where Steve killed Saskia as my mum thought it was too violent!! I saw the build up and the aftermath so it wasn't too bad.

The Ronnie and Danielle storyline from the start. I didn't start watching it until the viewers knew that Danielle was Ronnie's daughter.

I started watching HO in 2002/2003 when Toby was revealed as the serial killer (the first serial killer years before Silas) I was very young so wished I watched it from the off. Also my parents never let me watch the Leap Of Faith late night special, I watche the build up and aftermath but wish I actually watched the episode. Does anyone have it? I've tried YouTube and all over the internet but I would love to give it a watch even after all these years.
I would also like to see all the Mandy Richardson years too. |

I haven't seen any of it but missed Hannah's eating disorder in HO and started watching just after Sarah died in HO later both things that are talked about a lot.

I wish I'd watch the full Santer years of EastEnders - I just kind of dipped in and out. I've watched the majority of Stacey's bipolar on youtube, but it saddens me that I never actually saw it as it happened.

Corrie tram crash. I saw a few minutes of it just before going to work one night. I started watching corrie every day just after the tram crash so i saw the aftermath but missed all the action!

Angie and Den and Sharongate are the main ones. If we're just looking at the past few years then I would have liked to watch Kirsty's abuse storyline in Corrie, but I'm not sure I would have been able to put up with all other storylines and characters around it.

I'd loved to have seen Hilda, Stan and Eddie Yates in CS.

I started watching Hollyoaks in the last few days of Esther's suicide attempt and the whole Brendan Brady thing, and I really, really regret that.

I wish I'd been alive/old enough/interested in the show at the time to watch:
Angie & Den The ED plane crash The entirety of the Killer Cameron storyline The Jordache saga in Brookside Liz & Jim's time as a married couple |

Luke's rape in Hollyoaks. I started watching the show the year after so only saw him on screen for a couple of months before Gary left. I read the two books HO produced and I think it would have been amazing on screen. It's a shame old HO isn't repeated...
I love Gary Lucy and it's such a shame his potential wasn't realised in Eastenders. |

She left JUST as I started to try and get into it.
Still I have missed so much of Emmerdale and I'm kicking myself now I'm really, really into it.

I always remember Izzy being found out. I was struggling to keep up with Neighbours at that point as I was working and going to the gym most nights but I made sure I watched this episode and I cheered as she got found out. In terms of things I'd missed. I wish I could have seen the early EE years with Den and Angie. I was born in 1986 so I was only a baby! |
