That would just make it a typical whodunit which they've very clearly said this storyline isn't going to be.

I doubt they mean 'everyone is a suspect' in a literal sense. The death sounds like it's going to be a complete mystery, initially. The 'everyone is a suspect' line fits in with the idea that there are several things going on that will affect every character/family in the show in some way.

If it's a 10 month storyline leading up to the reveal on the 30th in Feb '15, I can see it starting as an everyone-is-a-suspect type thing, with ti slowly being whittled down to a core selection as we head into the big reveal.

I'm excited, but I hope they are deliberately having it run for so long because they have plenty of twists and turns planned. This storyline needs to be fantastic they can't drop the ball with this one.

One thing is for sure I hope Jake is not involved, I will be disappointed if it's him.
I liked Hetti's Lucy, I will be sad to see her go but I'm excited for this and I love a good who/whatdunit type of sls. Adam's (Ian) going to brilliant in this sl.

He so rarely gets the storylines his character deserves. Ian is the original Eastender and as such merits far better writing than he usually gets.

I also hope he gets as many duff duffs as possible. It's a vain hope but one day I would like him to overtake Phil as the all-time leader (not that it really matters).

A campaign to increase awareness and raise the profile of something so in this case a massive advertising promo to promote the storyline.

I hope its not like when they were whittling down Kats potential "lovers" and the big reveal turned out to be Derek, Urgh *shudders at the memory*.

I think it looks like EE were filming this today. DTC has just tweeted 2 pics of a few actors on set and also said was an exciting day on set. Looks like most people were on set today also as Jake Wood tweeted a selfie pic of himself and a lot of cast members.

A marketing campaign needs to be more than just TV, I wonder if we'll see billboards, posters, radio and television adverts? I think the last time they had billboards and posters was around the time Ronnie and Roxy arrived, the posters had the 'There's more to EastEnders' tagline on them.

I think this too. If the storyline is going to drag on for almost a year I'll be past caring by the time of the reveal. I'm glad Hetti Bywater is leaving, the sooner the better. Adam Woodyatt will shine during this storyline and Ian could head for another breakdown which will be good. He's a fantastic actor.

VBeing picky but Dot isn't an original. The only Cotton from the first episode was Nick.

Someone I follow on twitter overheard staff talking (loudly) about problems with the trail, apparently they said "they've chosen a Lana Del Ray track for the soundtrack where she talks about angels being ****ed"

As for them "dragging it out" I really don't think 10 months is that long, especially since the storyline will actually portray grief which whodunnits rarely do, they are nearly always focused on characters the rest of the cast want to get rid of.

Ooh, that would be 'In The Land Of Gods and Monsters' - a very creepy, atmospheric song, and would actually be a brilliant song for a dramatic trailer. I wonder if they'll use it or if they've changed it if there was an issue with the lyrics? There is quite a lot of swearing in it.

I have a feeling the eventual reveal will be a let down after what will be months and months of anticipation. Still looking forward to the storyline though.
