Nice work if you can get it. Especially as they don't vet any of the businesses that sign up to them.

Not used them either, I had a look to see what is available, but it is all foreign stuff, Pizzas, Chinese, indian and Peri peri stuff. some of the places are pretty grotty to be honest, with most of them getting two stars or less for hygiene.

I have never ordered take away for home delivery in my life so far, but I can see where it can be useful.

The take away's in Hereford are mostly 2** then? You get to pick who you order off. Very handy for the likes of shift workers who get home knackered, go online, order, pay by card, wait, then eat.

Nearly all takeaways are foreign, surely that's the whole point?

The takeaways that uses this Just eat seems to be two star, maybe three. the ones who don't use this Just eat seems to be better. Zulfi's for instance did not even get a star last year, now that was bad.

As i said, none of the takeways that have signed up to this is to my taste, it is all the same Pizzas, chinese , indian or curry. but I can see how people can use the service if they like the food it offers.

Talking of takeaways, I may pop to the chippy later, I can't be bothered to cook today.

Odd, all my local ones are 4 and 5 star, I didn't think it was that hard to achieve.

I forgot you don't eat 'Foreign' food. Had a quick look at your town and there is a more than just 2** but Hereford is mainly 'Foreign' so your out of luck really.

For those who've not used it to check food standards

You can in Darlington! A local company has just started delivering, KFC, Burger King, and McDonalds.

If I get a takeaway I always use just eat.

Not really out of luck as I doubt I would bother anyway.

That is out of date, there are some places on there that is no longer open and other where the ratings have changed and the site have not updated them.

How do you know they have changed ratings, what site do you use that is more up to date?

Scores on the doors, the scores on the doors are not always the same as on that site.
I noticed the chippy I went to today have been knocked down to four.
also as I said, some of the places have ceased trading.

They must have trouble eating takeaways then, most chip shops seem to be Greek owned these days.

Can you leave instructions with Just Eat, our site is tricky to find so I wouldn't want the delivery person not being able to find us especially as there's hot food involved. Can you leave a message in the ordering process?

You can leave a message about how you prefer your food so I guess you could put a message there (maybe its meant for that sort of thing as well as food preferences)
