Android on iPads
Is it possible to install Android on iPads?
I have no interest in getting involved in the iOS ecosystem so is it worth entering competitions to "win an iPad mini"? |

A quick google shows it has been possible in the past but seems a bit of a chore.
Enter the competitions and just sell the ipad if you ever win. Then buy an Android tablet. Simples. |

Would there be any reason to. You can get ipad and android device with virtually the same hardware specification.

Why waste a perfectly good copy of Android on a crappy fruit based tablet?

I think Apple and Blackberry should get together to produce a tablet and call it the PiePad.
