iPlayer - no picture

I watch iPlayer on my Lenovo tablet. I have an intermittent problem where, when watching live TV, I can only get the sound. I have watched the TV live on here before so it's not that it won't work, just sometimes. Any suggestions?

Simplest thing to try first is to reinstall bbc iplayer

I tried that

And I re-installed the BBC Media Player

Tonight it's working??? BBC2 live now David Bowie on TOTP.

Came out of iPlayer, gone back in and there's no picture now!

Tonight it looks as though if I use the BBC iPlayer app I get no picture, just sound. If I use the BBC Media Player app I get both sound and vision.

Is this normal?
