Ok... Since I was born the following new episodes have shown on my birthday (26 Jan)

1974 - Invasion of the Dinosaurs Part 3

1982 - Four to Doomsday - Part 4

1983 - Snakedance - Part 4

1984 - Frontios - Part 1

1985 - Vengeance on Varos - Part 2

Yeah - I was born in 1960, way back then. Only if Doctor Who was available to us in the States back then too.

Nice link.

I was born on the day the Mind Robber was broadcast.

Rerun of Fires of Pompei in 2010...

And Night of the Doctor was released last year!”

I don't think re-runs count. The OP wanted to know which DW episodes were 'first' broadcast on your birthday, in different years. As I already said at the weekend:

That's the only one I'm afraid! There are a few episodes that were broadcast a day after the 13th, in different years, but State of Decay is the only one on the exact day.”

Must be why I think Tom Baker is the best Doctor ever, and the Burgundy clothes, the best Doctor outfit.

This is a picture of Tom wearing the Burgondy clothes and as Meglos. Meglos is my favourite story of the 1980/81 season:

Us Autumnsters definitely get shortchanged. I could find only one episode broadcast on my birthday during the original run — before I was born though — and one episode of New Who, a repeat.

4th August (which is a bad start - not many DW's in that month!)

I found....1977: A Deadly Assassin - Part One and Full Circle in 1979 (part 2).

Lots on BBC3 - but that doesn't count does it.

Pah that's what comes with being born in the summer!

At just 2 days out, The Ark In Space Ep 4. But earliest memory that's just not really possible unless repeated within 3 years of the original broadcast date was Pyramids Of Mars Ep 4?.

None, and I also fall inbetween Doctors, as Tom Baker had just regenerated into Peter Davison in the March.

Did you watch it? If you did, did you know anything about it previously? Did you enjoy it?
