It's never inflammed me either in my 46 years of eating it,, to my knowing.

Under-rated - bread!

Over-rated - Can't really think of anything other than "tapas" restaurants....now they DO inflame me!”

Why do they annoy you? Genuine question.

Underrated - Quince. Ok it's a bugger to prepare but has a lovely vanilla taste and works in most things you'd use apple or pear in.

Overrated - Chorizo I do like it and it has it's place but I think it's over-used and often too strong a flavour for what it is paired with.

Pizza, over priced and over rated. It's just a bit of dough with a few bits and pieces on top, yet it costs a fortune!

You sound like you've never had a good pizza to me then.

Overpriced starters or side dishes in my view. I once went to a Tapas restaurant in Marbella (which was supposed to have an amaazing reputation - I was going as part of a group and had no choice anyway) where one of the vegetarian options was pasta tubes in mayonnaise and raw onion.

Sounds like a bad restaurant, they are surprisingly easy to find in Spain. I went on a stag do and had the worse tapas i'd ever had in Madrid, La Tasca do miles better.

I agree, Nestle and Cadbury brand chocolate is pure junk food for the body, it's more sugar than chocolate. Milk Tray is only 14% cocoa. I wish people would buy quality.

Over-rated: Bell peppers - I know they add colour to a dish but I just find them watery and tasteless with unpleasant skins - although this is mostly because the ones available to me in the supermarkets are forced, tasteless rubbish. Even beautiful fresh ones though - I just think they're a big colourful chunk of nothing. But they're on everything these days - salads, pizza, chili , curry, stir fry - go away!

Under-rated: Horseradish sauce - only ever put on the side of a beef dish plate. Mix with mayo for a lovely salad dip, serve with fish. Mix with salad cream an tinned tuna for a nice sandwich filling. Get a decent one though (Sainsburys organic horseradish sauce is very good at cost the same as any name brand)

To be honest, you'll find 'bad' in any major capital city geared for tourists.

I've had poor pizza and pasta in Rome. Then you've got Aberdeen Steak House in London.

We don't buy anything less that 90%.
Lindt 99% is amazing.

I'm going to have some of this. I don't eat beef and so have never had horseradish sauce (at least I can't recall having any) so sounds like I am missing out.

Totally agree. Worst tapas i've had was in Spain, worst pizza i've probably ever had was in Italy as well!

I had a pizza in Venice that turned up with tinned peas and carrots on it, very odd.

However, the best tapas I ever had was in a bar in Menorca, they would always give you a free tapas dish with your drinks and the food was so good you invariably ordered more!
