Believe me the vast majority of us moved on years ago. There are only a few people on this forum who like to live in the past.

Michelle moved to America, her family doesn't live in the square. The actress doesn't owe 'fans' anything. I hope she never comes back.

Yes, it is the same. Brad Pitt doing something has got nothing to do with Sue Tully. So what, he guest starred in an episode of Friends what frigging relevance is that?

You sound incredibly self entitled.

Also, the biggest point. She isn't an actress anymore so mentioning "the actress' schedule" is irrelevant. She does not act and hasn't for well over a decade. She's moved on in another career. Time the audience moved on too.

I would love for Michelle to return but don't see this happening. She was one of the most prominent characters of EE's early years ; more so than Sharon who I personally think didn't really come into her own until the arrival of the Mitchell Brothers.

I personally respect that she's gone into directing and has left her acting days behind her. I think there's been enough passage of time not to miss the character as much as I did. The show has gone on without her.

The only reason the character has to go back for is the reveal of the identity of Mark Jr.'s father ....Grant Mitchell. That is very dependent on Ross Kemp's involvement as he like Susan Tully has gone into other areas of the entertainment industry, If they did get Kemp back on board ; I wouldn't mind if they killed the character of Michelle off to facilitate Mark Jr's introduction and resolve a story which originated in 1995 - who really fathered Michelle's 2nd child.

It's not a Kathy or Cindy situation where the producers kill off a favourite character even though the actress playing the part would be more than willing to return in the future. Tully has made it clear she doesn't want to return.

I'd love for Michelle to return but it will never happen. I think they should kill her off and bring her body to rest in Walford. Have a funeral with say Martin, Sonia, Vicki, Spencer, Dot, Phil, Sharon, Ian, Tracey, David, Bianca, Carol and bring in her family.

She has been gone far too long for anyone under thirty to appreciate a return, she wouldn't return anyway

So why is it that I find EastEnders so enjoyable to watch at the moment, what with Ben and Jay's kidnapping, while Corrie seems not so great with tedious stories?

Answer me that!
