Lola finally gets a job as a researcher at the BBC. Her first project is interviewing people who have lived in the East End. She asks Phil, Dot and Ian about people that used to live on the square and using Skype, and travelling around London on the tube she makes a 10 minute documentary featuring lots of old faces which we get to see on the 30th anniversary. It would be very similar to this.

But obviously the end would be much darker. The last clip would be peter crying about missing his twin so Lucy's killer would stand up and say "I can't take this no more....I killed her...I killed Lucy"

you can get away with some degree of cheese for a big occasion, as long as the end is a dark duff duff. without moments of occasional happiness its difficult to take seriously and get to see that extra dimension in the characters.

Bearing in mind most people with a degree have a hard enough time trying to get their foot in the door of any media industry - especially the BBC. I doubt they want to teen mum who isn't even qualified to paint nails in their office!

Its called artistic license. Are you suggesting everything that occurs in any soap is 100% realistic?
