BIG REUNION BOMBSHELL! @verniebennett tells now about her secret meeting with @LouiseRedknapp

Vernie say's: "It was just me and Louise on our own, we got chatting and a reunion is definitely on the cards. We'll be talking more, it's very exciting"

'It's just been revealed the Big Reunion tour will be BoyBands only - leaving room for eternal to announce separate live dates.'

"I think it would be amazing for the fans, even if Louise was just involved in four or five songs' Watch this space!

source: Now Magazine

I don't have the full article but it sounds likely to me? Andi Peters tweeted, when Big Reunion started, how "Louise isn't with Eternal....for now" which was then deleted
I could see Louise do a tour and maybe Girl Thing/Atomic Kitten/B*Witched/Honeyz could get involved somehow

Meh Louise should just try and get a new solo deal she shone more as a solo artist.

Eternal just look better as a trio imo and the bulk of their back catalogue was as a trio.

I love Louise as a solo artist AND with Eternal ..And Eternal without her. maybe the tour could feature all 3 scenarios. Kelle could even sing "Higher Than Heaven" but guess it wasnt considered a massive song. Or Easther's duet with Aswad "Shy Guy"

Did Louise sing on any of the singles? I mean prominently not just on the chorus etc. If not why would she become a glorified backing singer of which she would be on a tour at this stage due to it mainly being their hits etc

Louise, Kéllé and Vernie were/are all glorified backing singers! Easther sang lead vocals on all their songs!

Could be good. I'm confused as to the Big Reunion tour only being the boybands from the two series. Why is this? I imagine Eternal, Girl Thing, Bwitched, Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz and co must be feeling a bit snubbed!

Louise really added nothing to them. They were better as a 3 piece and only became a real success after Louise had left.

No offence to Louise. I did always like her solo stuff.

I know Kelle is not very well at the moment so it seems unlikely anything will happen soon. Kelle posted this in May

I thought I should put pen to paper and explain my absence as this has caused some confusion in both my business and personal life. In 2000 I was diagnosed with SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) and I have been in and out of hospital over the past 3 months. I am now on chemotherapy and would appreciate your patience as I work through this. I am not the first and unfortunately probably won’t be the last to go through this!
However Louise has been speaking about Eternal again and she doesn't sound against the idea...

Speaking about her musical career, Louise, who performed with sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett and Kelle Bryan in Eternal for eight years, said she wouldn't rule out a reunion, calling singing her 'passion'.

'I would love to sing with the girls. Nothing is happening at the moment, but it's something I've always said,' she reveals.

'I was really proud to be part of Eternal. When I look back at Stay, and Just A Step From Heaven - I think it was the second biggest-selling album in the UK, apart from Pink Floyd the year it got released. It was quadruple platinum in its first year.

'And when I look back on that, I was so proud to be part of something that was so credible and so real.

'The last time I sang with the girls, they made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up because, live, they're incredible.'

Discussing the band's appearance on ITV2's The Big Reunion, Louise said: 'I'd love to sing with the girls, but I didn't want to do a TV show; it just wasn't where I was at in my life and my career.

'It's great the girls did it, and I know they would have smashed up the show, but for me, I couldn't see myself doing the whole behind-the scenes thing. But it was good for them.'
