Deal on 5s
ACL777

Hi I've just upgraded my Mums phone with Vodafone to an iPhone 5s. She has got it for £37 a month 1gb data, unlimited txts and minutes. The handset was free. I have a couple of questions though, will it do 4g and could I have got her a better deal. Since upgrading my sister had claimed she was offered the same phone and plan for only £28 a month. I personally don't believe her and Vodafone confirmed they would never offer this handset and plan for that price. What do others think? Could I have got her a better deal? Cheers.

The phone is 4G capable and did you take out a 4G plan or a 3G plan for your mum?

It sounds like your Sister might have been offered a 5c not a 5s

It's unlikely she would get an iPhone5s for £28 a month with a free phone
( although maybe not impossible )

Thanks for the replies. Im guessing it will be 3g by default as I never discussed 4g with the salesperson. I also think my sister is being misleading and really means the 5c.

I have just taken from Vodafone

Iphone 5S , 16GB model

4g data plan
Free phone
Unlimited texts
Unlimited Mins
13GB of data
6 months free Spotify or Sky Sports

For £31.20 per month with an added £24.20 of credit to my account to make it £30 per month for 24 months

It seemed like a deal I could not turn down

Yes it is on their website, it was the 9GB option, but now it is 13GB

I think they really didn't want to lose the other 4 phone contracts that were up in the next few weeks as well as mine

I actually got a 4G signal in Pontefract today which surprised me
