Wall battery charger help

Hello, first time I've posted in this forum before

I have a samsung galaxy s2 and for some reason my charger won't fit into my phone properly anymore, stopping me from charging it (I've borrowed a similar charger from a friend and that won't work either so the problem is surely coming from my phone)

Anyway, am I right in thinking that I can put my battery in this wall charger and I don't have to worry about connecting my phone to the charger? http://www.amazon.co.uk/TMLM%C2%AE-B...2+wall+charger

Probably a stupid question, but I'm useless with technology and I want to make sure I'm buying the right thing. Thanks for any help!

That should work although based on the reviews and lack of technical detail I'd probably go for this one if I was looking for one

There's also a genuine Samsung one if you wanted to pay the extra to be sure, which can just charge a battery on its own, assuming the stand part won't charge your phone directly.

Hope this helps.

Indeed, you can use such chargers (and even buy a spare battery so one charges while you use the other) but it's also relatively cheap (less than £15) to get the charging circuit board on the phone replaced completely.
