I'm sure I will get a US unblocker at some point, but at the moment there is so much on the UK one that I have never seen, it'll be quite a while before I run out of things to watch

Does Netflix allow you to see what they offer before you buy? i know Lovefilm used to show you whats on offer without needing a sub.

Unfortunately not. I believe the only official way to see their selection is by registering for a trial.

I am really loving Netflix right now , they are starting to get some decent stuff these days , I used to get lovefilm but since they changed to Amazon prime the stuff they have available to subscribers has dropped quite significantly yes they have lots of new stuff added all the time but most of it is behind a paywall

I think the UK version of NF is very limited, I've tried Unblock US put can't get it to work with my ps3 and there is no point in paying for Unblock US just to use it on a pc when you can use hola unblocker.

Can't you just do DNS redirection on your router?

The Netflix app was updated on PS3 which has made using DNS services unreliable, the only way around it is adding the DNS direct to the router, but with some routers this is not an option.

Not had any issues (yet) with unotelly dns being set up on ps3 for Netflix.
As you correctly state though changing dns isn't available on all routers *i'm looking at you Sky, Virgin and BT* luckily with vms superhub you can stick it into modem mode and use your own router. Not sure about the others though.

With BT, you can replace the HH with your own router. That's what I did and it's been perfect ever since.
I've kept the HH just in case there are problems

there is a workaround which I i found ont he US unblock site, but yes it does involve changing the router DNS and some routing.
