Would it not be better to predict three different ratings for all football matches that have the possibility to overrun - match finishes on time, match goes to extra time and match goes to penalties? I'm sure that used to be the case, so I was surprised that we didn't do it for this match.

I overlooked it until twenty minutes before the end of the second half, when I remembered there wouldn't be a replay!

I think we just need to be careful about putting knockout football matches in the schedule, unless it's a tournament final, and then refrain from putting the same day's subsequent programmes from that channel in the schedule, otherwise the forthcoming World Cup (from the second round onwards) is going to mean a lot of extra work for you, and is likely to cause a lot of disruption to the game for a few weeks.

It'll be slightly difficult with World Cup knockout matches anyway as we won't necessarily know who's playing where when the schedules are published and which channels will be airing them. I sense it's going to be fun...

No worse than two years ago with the Euros/Wimbledon/the Olympics I guess... though Dancc was running the game for the former two events. This is my first time with so much uncertainty in the summer schedules.
