Nothing wrong with sound levels. The producer should have been brave enough to replace him.
This will cost the BBC, because it won't get any overseas sales to English speaking countries. The likes of Denmark and Sweden can dub it into their own language!

I know he's shocking. Everyone else is much clearer tonight.
I know this is based on a book, so they cant change things, but the way this is being played, why did she stay? Why didnt she go back home to where that other man wanted to marry her?

They're ruining the story. Apart from cocking up the vicar, Aunt P was killed fairly early on. I expect they didn't want to waste Joanne Whalley.
